Before my parents headed out from Portugal, we got the chance to swing by Toulouse and catch up with my Aunt Ivelma. We hit up the Christmas markets, took leisurely walks by the river, checked out the main sights, indulged in some tasty French food, and had a blast hanging out with family I hadn’t seen in ages.

We had also planned to spend a lovely day in Lourdes, but the weather had other ideas. Although our train was cancelled and our trip was slightly altered, this unexpected turn of events led to a delightful surprise visit from my cousin David, who joined us for the last two days in Toulouse, making our time there even more memorable!

Até a próxima!
