First day of School

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry for taking so long to write another post. I had my first day of school on Thursday, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. All of the teachers are so sweet, and my class has more than six girls. If you go to my school in Sacramento, you’ll get what I’m saying. The first day of school wasn’t actually a schoolwork day though, if that makes sense. We mostly just played games like Queimada and Mata Piolho. Queimada is like kickball, but the other game is a little hard to explain. Remind me when I get back and I can teach you. It’s really fun. The actual first day of classes was on Friday, but it was mostly just introductions about what we will learn in the upcoming year. My favorite was english class, super easy! We’re all settling in really well, and everyone is really nice. Tomorrow I even got invited to watch a play on Anne Frank. I hope everyone’s doing well, and nice in cool in the 100⁰ weather. Here, it’s so windy, and not a nice breeze. We can’t even go into the ocean it’s so cold. Oh, also, everyone rights in cursive. Just like we right in print everyday, cursive is their default form of writing. That sounds a little weird, but you get what I’m saying. I gotta go, but I hope everyone has a great weekend. Bye for now!

Sounds like you are getting acclimated to living there just fine, and you are liking the school too! Right on! Btw, I love that you all write in cursive over there! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜Š
